Pixo

Reduce your image file size online, for free

Whatever the reason — an upload form's file-size limit, a slow connection, or just tidying up your photo library — Pixo shrinks JPG, PNG, and WebP files automatically, with no signup and nothing ever leaving your browser.

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF — up to 20 files, 25 MB each

How it works

  1. 01Drop one or more images into the box above — JPG, PNG, or WebP all work.
  2. 02Click "Compress" — Pixo picks the right approach automatically: quality reduction for JPG/WebP, palette reduction for PNG.
  3. 03If a specific result is still too large, open its Adjust panel for a live before/after size preview as you fine-tune it, or resize its dimensions in Advanced first.
  4. 04Download each result, or grab all of them at once as a ZIP.

Tips for better results

  • Dimensions matter more than most people expect — a photo at half its original width and height is usually far smaller than the same photo just compressed harder.
  • If you're chasing a specific file-size limit (a form, an email attachment cap), drag the Adjust slider until the live size readout is under your limit.
  • Batches are limited to 20 images at a time, 25MB each — plenty for typical form uploads, photo albums, or web galleries.
