About Pixo
Pixo is a free image compressor built around one idea: your photos shouldn't have to leave your device to get smaller.
Why we built it
Most online image compressors upload your file to a server, compress it there, and send it back. That's slower than it needs to be, and it means a stranger's server briefly has a copy of your photo. Pixo runs the entire compression pipeline — decoding, resizing, and encoding — in your browser.
What you can do here
Compress JPG, PNG, and WebP images with one click, resize by width, height, or percentage, and convert between formats — fine-tune quality or colors afterward if a result needs it. Everything works in a batch, and nothing is uploaded.
How it's funded
Pixo is free to use and supported by display advertising placed away from the tool itself — never inside the upload area or between your result and its download button.
